Lights Out is a game of logic and skill. You start with a complex pattern of lightbulbs, and your job is to turn them all off in groups of four. Fifteen different levels are available. Requires Netscape 4+, Internet Explorer 4+

How to Play

  • Start the game by clicking the start button above
  • Click the 'New Game' button on the right hand side of your screen.
  • You will see level one appear on the grid.
  • To make a move, click on any light bulb. Making a move will cause the bulbs above, below, and to the left and right to change. (ie. If they were off they turn on, if they were on they turn off)
  • The object of the game is to turn all the lights off before the time runs out. If you manage this, you will be moved on to the next level.
  • Each level is timed. If the time runs out when you are playing a level, you loose the game.
  • TIP: When you make a move in the corners of the grid, only two light bulbs are affected. When you make a move at any side of the grid, three bulbs are affected. You will need to use this to complete some of the levels!
